What is Coaching?

Coaching is a professional service where the client and coach work together on specific projects.

Are there different types of coaching?

Yes, each coach offers a slightly different service depending on their life experience, passion and area of interest.

How is Joyful Living Coaching different from other types of coaching?

Joyful Living is facilitated by Rebecca. Rebecca has been able to cultivate joy, even when times have been challenging. Whilst she has trained, she works intuitively, with a kind manner and a clear intent - and a passion for her client to achieve. 

Does a coach give advice?

A professional coach guides their client to respond to answers , encouraging them to reach their own decisions for change.

What is the difference between coaching and therapy or counselling?

Coaching is action orientated, the role of the coach being to nurture the steps to action for change. 

A counsellor works for a short time to address behavioural issues.
A therapist will usually work longer term on more deep seated issues.

Is Joyful Living coaching an ongoing process?

Rebecca chooses to work with clients in a maximum of 5 sessions in one block. After a break more sessions can be discussed. This structure encourages the client to be empowered to take action

What might I feel after a coaching session?

The intention for each session is for you to feel calm, and even excited by the steps you are taking to discover routes to , and discovering ways that will become a permanent part of your life after the coaching sessions have ended.

Is support available after a block of sessions has ended?

After your block of sessions has ended you can choose to have a ‘check in’ session intermittently at a time interval you choose, or go ahead with another block of sessions.

Are there any specific new skills I might learn from Rebecca in the Joyful Living coaching sessions?

In supporting your enhanced joy we may work with; breath work, guided visualisations, affirmations, support with nutrition, how to work with colour - all integrated as paths to increased joy and well being.
